The Muscovy duck (Cairina moschata) is a large duck native to Mexico, Central, and South America. Park and pay and start riding inland and uphill. The tips of the stems, stem attaching the leaf to the stems (petiole), the veins of the leaves, and the edges of the leaves, are a glowing reddish color all year long. It turns red in late summer and autumn before its leaves fall leaving behind bare branches during winter.

Poison oak is an adaptable shrub or vine that grows in many habitats. The trail was voted the Number One bike path for 2006. Its worth a small detour to ride it. It grows west of the Sierra Nevada from Mendocino County, California, south to northern Baja California in Mexico. Where peace and serenity meet a retreat for fun gatherings and endless adventure! The cinnamon teal (Anas cyanoptera) is a species of duck found in western North and South America.
